Salvation

  

What is the path of salvation?

  1. We must realize that we all have sinned

    2. "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)."

  2. There is a penalty for that sin

    3. "For the wages of sin is death (literally, eternal separation from God)…(Romans 6:23a)"

  3. God has a remedy for the penalty!

    4. "but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23b)."

  4. We must confess Jesus as Lord!

"That if you confess with your mouth ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with the heart you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved (Romans 10:9,10)."

Today is the day of salvation!

"I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2)."

If God is dealing with you personally in the area of salvation do not put it off! God wants to fill you with His presence today…right now! If you served God at one time but since you have fallen away, today is your home coming day!

Do not wait to serve God tomorrow! Do it today. Pray this simple prayer out loud and you will be ready for heaven.

"Lord Jesus, I come to you as a sinner who needs a savior. I have committed sins and I repent of them now and ask you to forgive me. Wash me clean with your blood. Jesus you are the Son of God. You died on the cross for me, and you rose again. Come into my life now make me born again. Thank You God for making me a Christian!"
